Done in response to an article in The Guardian that examined the “mind-boggling” cost behind the fish oil industry. Irresponsibly large fish harvests are upsetting the balance of local ecosystems and possibly hastening effects of climate change. I wanted to show how these companies see the fish not as an important part of an ecological web, but a product with a dollar value. These populations are also finite; there are only so many pills in a bottle. Continuing overproduction will eventually trap these fisheries in a bottle of their own making.
